Diamond Bank, Total Nigeria Partner to Deploy ATMs across Service Stations

DIAMOND BANK AND TOTAL PARTNER TO DEPLOY ATM MACHINES TO STATIONS

In a bid to make financial services more accessible to customers, Diamond Bank PLC, a leading retail bank in Nigeria, and Total Nigeria PLC, have partnered to provide Diamond Bank Automated Teller Machines (ATM) at select Total Service Stations across Nigeria.

Total Nigeria PLC is a marketing and services subsidiary of Total, a multinational energy company. It has remained the leader in the downstream sector of the Nigerian oil and gas industry with an extensive distribution of over 500 service stations nationwide.

Speaking at the launch which held at the Total Service Station, Lekki-Ajah Expressway in Lagos, Premier Oiwoh, Director, Operations and Technology, Diamond Bank PLC, who represented the MD/CEO, noted that the initiative was aimed at deepening customer satisfaction among customers of both organisations by providing them with convenient lifestyle solutions.

He said: “We are pleased to flag-off this partnership between Diamond Bank and Total Nigeria PLC, two notable, customer-centric brands, that have come together to provide secure and convenient lifestyle solutions to customers in Nigeria.”

“Diamond Bank ATMs are fitted with best-in-class security systems to ensure that users can confidently carry out their financial transactions no matter the area of deployment. Supported by Total Nigeria’s extensive service station network, we are providing our teeming base of customers with safe, accessible and convenient centres where they can carry out all their regular ATM transactions using credit cards or Diamond Bank Magic Cash, a cardless alternative to using the ATM for customers who do not have their debit cards,” he added.

Aisha Ahmed, Divisional Head, Consumer and Privilege Banking, Diamond Bank PLC, said: “As a full-fledged retail bank, Diamond Bank is always inventing new ways to reach our customers and make life easier for them. We believe that the partnership with Total Nigeria perfectly fits this goal as Total shares our core value of top quality service delivery.

“In addition, the partnership will enable Diamond Bank customers who need cash but do not have a debit card seamlessly carry out their transactions using the Magic Cash platform on the ATMs, as long as they are within access to a Total service station. However, it is pertinent to mention that the ATMs are not restricted to only Diamond Bank customers as other members of the public can use it.”

Jeff Nnamani, Executive Director Strategy, Total Nigeria, said: “As part of our continued efforts to provide top quality products and services to our customers, Total Nigeria PLC is glad to partner with Diamond Bank PLC in the deployment of ATM services in select Total Service Stations nationwide. This partnership is in line with our strategy to provide convenient and innovative services that are easily accessible.

“In order to satisfy the evolving needs of our customers, we have developed a “one-centre” strategy which implies that when customers visit Total service stations they can purchase a wide array of petroleum products, lubricants and solar products, conveniently shop at our Café Bonjour shops and receive premium car care maintenance and services from our Total Service and Total Wash concepts. With this partnership, customers can conveniently withdraw cash in a secure environment as they stop by to access other services in the station.”

A total of 21 ATM kiosks have been deployed in Total service stations with more planned in the future.
