Breaking: Appeal Court sacks Zamfara APC governorship, assembly candidates – The Court of Appeal sitting in Sokoto, led by Justice Tom Yakubu, has set aside the judgement of a Zamfara High Court on the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries that produced the party’s candidates for governorship, National and State Assembly elections.

Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission complied with the judgment of the Court of Appeal (Abuja Division), which ordered the inclusion of the candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the ballot papers.

Consequently, the commission included the APC candidates in the ballot papers for the 2019 presidential and National Assembly elections.
