UTME Results: When will Jamb results 2019 be out?

UTME Results: When will Jamb results 2019 be out? – This is over three weeks now since the Joint admission and matriculation board (JAMB) concluded the 2019 Unified tertiary matriculation examination (UTME) and for one reason or the other Jamb has continued to delay the release of the 2019 Utme results.

The question on the lips of candidates, wards and parents has been when will 2019 Jamb results be released? It is difficult to give a definite date when candidates will see their Jamb results because even the board are confused themselves on when the process will be concluded.

What jamb said about the delay?

Jamb has continued to say it is conducting bio-metric verification of candidates who sat for the 2019 Utme.

According to Fabian Benjamin, the Head of Media and Publicity for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), disclosed that over 1.8 million have successfully written the examination.

The board has already confirmed that biometric verification has already been concluded in 31 states which leave us with 5 other states and the FCT.

No word has been heard since Monday this week on the statues of verification of candidates in the remaining states.

What about Jamb server rumors, are they true?

There has been many rumors flying around about Jamb server crashing which some believe is the main reason delaying the release of the 2019 Jamb results.

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified rumors of its server crashing, reassuring candidates that their 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results are safe.

Financial Watch gathered that the Head of Media and Information, Dr Fabian Benjamin, clarified the matter in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos.

”We want to distance ourselves from such malicious and wicked rumours by fraudulent persons, as there is no truth in them,” he said.

”We did not issue any press statement concerning crashing of the server. All these are antics of desperate persons trying to cause panic and confusion among candidates and the general public.

Candidates express frustrations over delay in release of 2019 Jamb results

Meanwhile Candidates who sat for the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) have express frustrations over the delay in the release of their 2019 Jamb results.

The candidates spoke in separate interviews with journalists on Sunday in Bwari.

The 2019 UTME commenced on April 11 to April 18 with 1.8 million registered candidates.

The board has repeatedly said that it would take its time to screen the results because of the several infractions discovered during the exercise.

Madueke John, a candidate said that the long wait for the results has held some of the candidates back, while also causing a lot of tension.

“With everything we are hearing from JAMB and other media reports we are getting, we are tensed.

“I know I did not do anything that will incriminate me during the exams but the entire process this time around has really changed.

“If JAMB, while screening discovers those who are innocent, why don’t they release those ones and continue screening others, seriously, this is taking forever.

“I really don’t know what to expect again, but please, they should just focus on this year’s exercise and release at least parts of the results to reduce the tension.”

How long will candidates likely wait for their Jamb results?

Considering all the rumors, reports and confirmed stories concerning the 2019 Jamb results it is difficult to give a date at this time.

JAMB have tactfully avoided giving further dates for the release of the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) after failing to release the results as earlier promised.

The best thing to embrace right now is patience!

***UPDATE: There are reports making rounds that Jamb results will be released today – i guess we’ll all wait to find out!
