Those who scaled the screening are to sit for an aptitude test on August 3 across the country.

The test is part of the requirements by the PSC to recruit 10,000 Nigerians into the Force for this year, following President Muhammadu Buhari’s directive.

At the close of the commission’s recruitment portal on January 11, a total of 315,032 applications were received but 210,150 were shortlisted for screening.

In a statement in Abuja by its spokesman Ikechukwu Ani, the PSC said it would send SMS to the mobile phones of the shortlisted candidates to invite them for the test, which will start at 8 a.m.

Candidates were also advised to check the comprehensive list from the commission’s website: www.psc.org.ng or visit the police command headquarters in their states to see the pasted comprehensive list.

The PSC warned candidates to avoid any form of examination malpractice as culprits will be apprehended and punished accordingly.
