Cross River governorship: INEC declares Ayade election winner – The Governor of Cross River State , Prof Ben Ayade of the Peoples Democratic Party, has been declared winner of the governorship election.
He polled a total of 381, 484 votes to defeat the All Progressives Congress candidate , Senator JohnINEC declares Ayade winner of Cross River governorship election Owan – Enoh , who polled 131, 161 votes.
The Social Democratic Party candidate , Eyo Ekpo polled 4 , 818 votes . The returning officer for the governorship election in Cross River State , Prof Akii Ibhadode said , “ That Ben Ayade, having scored the required number of lawful votes is hereby declared winner of the election”
